40 & Over was formed to allow the 40+ age group of bowlers to compete among themselves. It is a handicap tournament association, with tournaments monthly from August through June. Except for a few special events, tournaments are normally the first Sunday of the month. Tournaments are held throughout North Western Oregon, from Albany, Salem, Vancouver, Lebanon, Gladstone, and Portland.

Congratulations to Bryan Kiersey for winning his first 40 & Over tournament. Lots of good scores and several new members bowling with us, some making the finals.

Still dragging my feet on the last 2 tournaments of the year, but will have something to report by the next tournament.

Looking forward to this coming month's event at AMF Firebird in Salem . Doug and his staff always treat us well and you really need to make the drive to support this event. Also, information not on the mailed out forms, They have installed synthetic lanes.from either AMF Cascade or AMF Timber/Vancouver. Scoring should be great.
